Priests from Southern Luzon, Tagalog Region gather in the Archdiocese of Lipa for the 14th SOLTARE Cup, the largest gathering of priests in the Archdiocese – at least – after the pandemic. The said event was inaugurated last August 21, the memorial of St. Pius X, the pope who conceived the then diocese of Lipa, and it culminated four days later August 25. During the weeklong event, different activities that included elements of culture, fraternity (camaraderie), and spirituality – like recollection, socials night, and sports festival to name a few – were done. The SOLTARE Flag was then passed to the Diocese of Boac during the last day of the event and as per Bishop Maralit, the ordinary of the said Diocese; the 15th SOLTARE Cup will be a one-of-a-kind “Island Experience”.
